A foundation-level programme for SPM school leavers and modelled as a preparation certificate for students who aspire to enroll into CIBTAC (UK) and CIDESCO (Switzerland) programs. This course is highly suitable for high school graduates, beauty business owners and professionals who are interested to pursue a career in the beauty industry. You can visit the PCFA page for more information.

If you are a SPM school leaver, we highly recommend that you enroll yourself with the PCFA certificate which is a 60 hour programme tailored for entry level students. This programme will provide you with the basic understanding of a future career in the beauty industry.

After a thorough review on our education pathway, we have identified a gap in our previous syllabus for students who wish to pursue a career in the medical aesthetic industry which is booming over the past decade. Hence we have differentiated our syllabus for beauticians and aestheticians respectively with the CISB (Beauticians) and CISA (Aestheticians). CISA has more detailed syllabus covering the face and body. This CISA Syllabus is positioned as a base level certificate for students who wish to pursue their CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Switzerland).  The syllabus covers more in-depth expertise in medical aesthetics. On the other hand, the CISB is positioned as a base certificate for students pursuing their CIBTAC Level 3 Diploma in Facial Applications (UK), which is focused to the face areas only. The CISB syllabus is developed to equip beauty salon therapists with less invasive procedures and treatments.

In our CIE education pathway, we position the CISA Certificate as the pre-requisite for the CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Switzerland). Hence you will need to enroll for the CISA Certificate.
